The Only Thing I Know The Only Thing I Know

Rated 3.5 / 5 stars February 10, 2010

To each his own.

Every human being has to choose what he sees as "right"
There is no ultimate truth.
I had my first mmo of which I played alot and got to lvl 103 (mu online)
I did came to the conclusion that I prefer games with an ending. (I was 15 then)
Now I am 22 years old and I see that in a way everything in life is a checkmate.

One that has studied all his youth and got a high paying job cannot get to early retirement because either he or his family are already used to spending alot of money every month and him retiring would mean less income.

A man that marries and have kids reach a point in his life which he realises that his family looks at him like nothing more then a bringer of money.

A man that spent most of his time gaining friends will find out none of them really cares about him.

I was asked when I was 4 (I did not knew what video games are back then) what do I want to do when I grow up. I simply answerd: "when I grow up I want to retire"
I never in my life wanted to even try to make a diffrence, I have no desire to be remembered, never had and hope that never will.
For now my only regret is the 23 months I spent on improving my physical attributes (NO, not in an mmo. in my real flesh and blood body.) that was no doubt a waste of time.
I had many I used to call my friends, but they too were nothing more then a temporary amusement.
I already lost my passion for TV and video games.
Most of my free time is spent on watching funny ppl on there vlog hoping for a cheap laugh and failing chess over and over again.
I do not regret anything beside my atempt in body building.
All those hours I spent on tools of enterteiment were well spent, because I really was entertained.
I could try to be consumed by ambition but that is also an empty goal ambition never stops and in the rare times in which it does a person loses his will to live.
Wanting to be rememberd is nothing but a desire for a kind of immortality.
all of this in the end are nothing more then a blinking "achivement sign"
in the end we are all nothing but sacks of flesh in a journey to our unavoidable deaths.

If you desire to gain a (false) sence of immortality by being rememberd after your death then work to achive it.

If you simply want to share your life with another then I pitty you for needing another to verify your own existence, but I do hope you will gain happiness

If want to make kids then... good luck over populating this already "about to burst" planet.

I will finish with this
spend your life in a way that makes you happy or to achive a certain goal.
IN THE END YOU ARE NOTHING MORE THEN A ROTTING SACK OF FLESH.
NEVER FORGET THAT
I cannot think of anything else to say, but I do wonder how few will read this...
